CEO & Founder of ISHIPS. Mr Malek is a highly experienced individual in the ship recycling sector with a passion to make changes to meet the demands of the shipping industry. He has significant background knowledge and extensive experience both as a Buyer (recycler), Owner, Seller, and Principle.

Business is conducted with some of the biggest ship owners in the world including many stock listed companies providing professional services in the ship recycling space. Significant investment has been made into the group which has excellent support from both Banks and the international community. He proposes to continue to make changes to the way we safely recycle vessels to become the lead in this marketplace.

Steve Wansell

Sale & Purchase

Experienced individual in the Ship Recycling sector having significant background knowledge and extensive experience both as a lender and principle in the industry. He is a specialist in handling sale and purchase of both vessels and offshore units through the international ship-broking market, with key broker owner contacts across the globe in regards to sourcing tonnage. Steve has a lifetime of experiences in this marketplace and will be one of the few who has such in depth knowledge from an all-round perspective. His in-depth knowledge of the industry makes me the ideal person to provide insight and analysis into key industry trends and to offer an insiders view of the future

Capt. Peer Muhammed

Technical

Peer heads the technical team for the group and has over 20 years of sea going and technical experience. He is a highly skilled Superintendent that specialises in ships and offshore units for recycling. He has an excellent marine background having served on Containers, Bulk, Car carriers, Oil Tankers, Multi- purpose and General cargo vessels with reputed owners.

He has developed a high level of commercial awareness with the aim to have incident free operations on board. Peer has the ability to find solutions to challenging situations even when working in remote locations. He possesses an excellent rounded working knowledge of various shipboard systems and is able to fine tune them to meet requirements of PSC, vessel trading patterns and respective owners.

Peer and his team undertake all related Pre-purchase inspections worldwide for the group.
